Training Schedule and Instructors

Dojo Location

Our Dojo is located at 1331 Augusta Drive, Houston Texas 77057. This is just north of San Felipe.

Adult Schedule

Advanced: Tuesday and Thursday: from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Saturday: Kata from 9:30am to 10:45am, Kumite from 10:45 am to 12:00noon
Intermediate: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: from 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Beginner: Monday and Wednesday: from 7:00pm to 8:15pm
Conditioning Plus: Saturday from 12:00noon to 1:00pm (Open and free to all Y members.)

Club members are welcomed at any training session. Adult Beginners classes start periodically, about every 6 months and will be announced in the News section.

Monday / Tuesday: Sensei Kayarash Daylami (6th Rokudan)
Sensei Ruben Chan Fung (4th Yondan)
Wednesday / Thursday: Sensei Shadi Barazi (6th Rokudan)
Friday: Sensei Ivan Uray (3rd Sandan)
Saturday Kata: Sensei Emmanuel Chibundu (4th Yondan)
Saturday Kumite: Sensei Alex Ndem (World Champion)
Saturday Conditioning: Sensei Shadi Barazi (6th Rokudan)

Children Schedule

Advanced: Tuesday and Thursday: from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Intermediate: Monday and Wednesday: from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Novice: Monday and Wednesday: from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Beginner: Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00pm to 6:00pm

Youth Beginners classes start periodically, about every 4 months, and will be announced in the News section. Children, age 7 years or more, are admitted at Beginner level. Exceptionally, upon evaluation of the Chief Instructor, children with previous experience may be admitted to higher levels.

Children Regular Instructors

Childrens classes are taught by Senior Instructor Sensei Shadi Barazi together with one or more of the following Assistant Instructors (who may also teach some classes).
